CV - BIOGRAPHY
Cinzia Bevilacqua was born in Brescia in 1963. After attending the Vincenzo Foppa School of arts there, she went on to graduate from the Academy of fine Arts in Florence, under the direction of Prof Goffredo Trovarelli.
Her Florentine education and subsequent experience in investigating the styles of old as well as the most disparate technique varieties, set Cinzia Bevilacqua to preferring the mastery of oil techniques although she has sometimes ventured towards tempera painting, as well as painting on glass. Her experimenting in this last set of techniques has given birth to some resoundingly appreciated copies and d'apres, especially those commissioned within ecclesiastic circles.

Being the intensely poetic artist she is, she has actively earned her success in numerous showings, on top of garnering an impressive number of international awards and critical praises, all paying homage to her refreshingly narrative vein, her descriptive vivacity and fascinatingly deep introspective sensitivity, a sensitivity that is especially mirrored by her portrait works.
Her signature has thus been put on a good number of portraits for cultural and show business personalities, whilst some of her works are comprised in exceptionally prestigious art collections.

To date she has been praised by critics such as Vittorio Sgarbi, Roberto Armenia, Giuseppe Fusari, Giovanna Galli, Paolo Zauli, Michele Fuoco, Luciano Spiazzi and Evaristo Bodini, further to having exhibited in a variety of collective showings with artists such as Reggiani, Del Pezzo, Piemonti, Damaro, Benvenuti, Ferroni, Luporini, Iervolino, Cappelli, Lorenzetti, and Bracaccini.
